The Neighborhood

The Charmer sits in the heart of Midtown / Mission Hills, putting you in an ideal spot to explore some of San Diego’s most lively and scenic neighborhoods. Just to the south, Balboa Park offers sweeping green spaces, museums, gardens and trails – it’s hard to beat for a weekend stroll or picnic. East of the property lies Hillcrest, a vibrant, walkable neighborhood full of independent shops, cafés, and a rich dining scene, plus a very strong sense of community. A little further downtown is Little Italy, where cobblestone streets, frequent farmers markets, and sidewalk cafés make it one of the city’s most picturesque districts. Directly adjacent toward the south is Bankers Hill, known for its graceful, older architecture, plenty of tree-lined streets, and great vantage points overlooking downtown.
